Affiliate Disclosure

1. The short version

This site contains affiliate links. If you book a tour through one of them, we may earn a commission from the booking platform. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes out of the operator's margin, not your fare. This disclosure is made in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides and the UK Advertising Standards Authority's rules on affiliate marketing.

2. Who we are and are not

teidenationalparktours.com is an independent editorial website. We are not a tour operator, a travel agency, the Teide cable-car operator, or the national park authority. We do not take bookings, hold payments or issue tickets. Every reservation is made on a third-party platform under that platform's terms.

3. Which links are affiliate links

Our booking links and embedded booking widgets point to GetYourGuide and carry a partner identifier. Affiliate links are marked in the page source with rel="sponsored", and any button labelled “Check availability”, “Book now” or “Check tours & availability” should be assumed to be one. Links to the national park authority, the TenerifeON permit system, transport operators, scientific institutions and news sources are ordinary editorial links and earn us nothing.

4. How commission does — and does not — affect what we recommend

All the tours we list are on the same platform at broadly similar commission rates, so there is no financial reason for us to prefer one over another. We choose what to feature on relevance to the question at hand, rating, review volume and how honestly the listing describes what is included.

Concretely, on this site that means:

• We tell readers plainly that park entry is free and that a good Teide day needs no paid ticket at all.
• We feature a tour that deliberately excludes the cable car, because for some visitors that is the better booking.
• We flag when a listing puts “with permit” in its title while selling the permit separately — including in categories we earn from.
• We publish the weather and altitude caveats that make people cancel, rather than burying them.

Ratings, review counts and prices shown on this site were checked on 1 September 2026 and are rounded. They move over time — the platform's own page is always the authority at the moment you book.

5. What we do not do

We do not accept payment for a favourable review or a higher placement, we do not publish sponsored posts dressed as editorial, and we do not invent reviews, ratings or testimonials. Where we quote a rating or a review count it comes from the booking platform's live listing.

6. Your rights and recourse

Because we are not the merchant, cancellations, refunds, complaints and weather-related rescheduling are handled by the booking platform and the tour operator. Check the cancellation terms on the listing before you pay — on a mountain as weather-dependent as Teide, free cancellation is worth real money.
